Keep getting distracted by technology? Here's some tech that can help
Sometimes it's difficult to stay concentrated on your writing when notifications keep popping up on your phone – especially if you're working from home where distractions abound.
Thankfully, app developers have created many productivity tools, from calendars to help your organise your days, to workflow management tools if you're working in a team and need a better way to keep track of everyone's progress.
Carter Thomas, a marketer and strategist in the mobile app space, highlighted his 5 favourite productivity apps in this blog post on The Huffington Post website.
His recommendations include an app that delivers a personalised message to those trying to reach you, explaining why you can't take their call right now (writing, of course), as well as one that incentivises you to stop using your phone so often by getting you to grow a virtual forest.
