Freelance journalist Patrick Egwu provides some tips for journalists working together on IJNet based on his experiences with the Hostwriter journalism network.
Deciding on a method of communication may seem basic, but is key for touching base at different points of the story. His team opted for a mixture of WhatsApp, Skype and email.
"We had amazing conversations and shared ideas about how to go about our story. This was how we decided which medium to publish, with special consideration of the visibility and reach," it writes.
