Although there is still a lot of uncertainty around the fallout of the global covid-19 pandemic, we can be sure that business and financial news will dominate the headlines as the economic recession looms.
This means that many journalists will likely be examining and reporting on topics that are completely new to them.
In an article for the International Journalism Network, Linda A. Thompson, co-founder of The Friendly Freelancer, has put together these three in-depth tips for business reporting.
"The key for business reporters trying to learn about this is to seek out sources that are fact-based and not commentary-based," she advises.
