Pretty much anyone can now create a podcast. Here is how to make your show stand out
Creating audio shows is increasingly easy and the podcast market is still growing despite the pandemic.
Corinne Podger, director of The Digital Skills Agency, recently spoke at an ICFJ webinar about key steps to producing a professional podcast even if you are working from home.
From coming up with a "thumb-stopping idea" that will stop people scrolling and pick your show, to knowing your audience, using the right tech and testing your recording, she outlined how to create engaging show people will actually want to listen to.
"Create S.M.A.R.T. (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-limited) goals that will give a clear evaluation of the progress of the show. And after you launch, use analytics to get feedback, including social media surveys and Google Manager," the ICFJ article by Naomi Ludlow reads.
