There are many dos and don’ts when it comes to making a good impression while doing work experience. You want to make connections, work hard and gain a better understanding of the newsroom, but what about a more detailed list of pointers?
Award-winning journalist Sian Elvin has compiled this list of the 10 things you should and should not do if you want to get the most out of your work experience.
"It’s important to remember that work experience is what you make of it," she writes.
