Let this Chrome browser extension flag up words that make you sound less competent

Starting an email with “I’m so sorry to bother you but I may have an article idea that may actually be interesting — or maybe not” is not going to help you convince an editor you're the right person to commission for the piece.
A new Chrome browser extension Just Not Sorry underlines self-demeaning phrases like “I’m no expert” and qualifiers such as “actually” in Gmail like they’re spelling errors, writes Christina Cauterucci.
“Hover your mouse over the red words, and you’ll see explanatory quotes from women like Tara Mohr (‘Just’ demeans what you have to say, ‘Just’ shrinks your power) and Sylvia Ann Hewlett (Using sorry frequently undermines your gravitas and makes you appear unfit for leadership.)”, writes Cauterucci.
