Last week saw the the 13th International Newsroom Summit held in Amsterdam as part of the wider World Publishing Expo from WAN-IFRA.
Speakers and delegates from around the world attended two days of sessions on the changing nature of digital journalism, including presentations on data, mobile reporting, engaging new audiences, making stories "go viral", digital tools and questions of ethics around user-generated content.
WAN-IFRA's Julie Posetti, a journalist and academic, put together a list of the top ten takeaways from the conference to pick out the salient issues, including links to presentations and further reading. Well worth checking out for a summary of the important lessons and topics at the event.
