Freelance journalist Kira Zalan put together a list of six services designed to help journalists find experts in their field, bypassing outdated directories or PR-backed platforms.
She recommends, among others, Expertise Finder, which was created by a former journalist, and SheSource, a tool that highlights women who excel in their field.
