
Writing great headlines for the web can be challenging. Check out these examples of headlines rewritten by Kurt Gessler, deputy editor for digital news at the Chicago Tribune, and his team, to include more context, scope, or feature the most compelling facts.
Gessler, who published a similar piece for MediaShift in December, wrote this article as a follow-up of "before and after" headlines that doubled the click-through rate to the website.
