She offers five tips to make journalism collaborations work based on real-world examples in an article for Poynter.
It helps to have a project manager at each participating news organisation as a point of contact for questions, problems and other ideas - and to avoid lengthy Slack channels.
"Collaborations can get complex quickly — there are a lot of moving parts and players with any project, and that gets doubled when you involve a whole team from another organisation," it reads.
