Award-winning free-from food brand, Creative Nature, has launched one of its popular top 14 allergen-free Pancake and Waffle Mix into more than 500 Tesco stores across the UK. This marks a significant milestone for the challenger brand
Award-winning free-from food brand, Creative Nature, has launched one of its popular top 14 allergen-free Pancake and Waffle Mix into more than 500 Tesco stores across the UK for the first time.
This milestone marks a significant expansion for the brand, with its products now featured on gondola ends in all Tesco stores, ensuring maximum visibility for customers seeking safe and delicious free-from alternatives.
The Pancake and Waffle Mix joins Creative Nature’s popular Carrot Cake and Sticky Toffee Pudding in Tesco’s dedicated Free From aisle, offering more choice to those with dietary restrictions. The launch has been perfectly timed ahead of Pancake Day, allowing consumers to enjoy a worry-free treat with their families.
Julianne Ponan MBE, CEO and founder of Creative Nature, has long been an advocate for allergen-safe foods after experiencing severe, life-threatening allergies herself.
She said: “Food allergies can make simple joys like enjoying pancakes with family a real challenge. Many people have to go without, fearing hidden allergens. That’s why we’re so proud to be launching our Pancake and Waffle Mix into Tesco stores. It means more people can enjoy delicious, easy-to-make pancakes with absolute confidence that they are safe.”
The expansion into Tesco reflects the growing demand for high-quality, allergen-safe foods, as awareness of food allergies and intolerances continues to rise. The Food Standards Agency estimates that 2.4 million people in the UK live with a diagnosed food allergy, with many more avoiding allergens due to intolerances or dietary choices.
Creative Nature’s Pancake and Waffle Mix is free from the UK’s 14 major allergens, including gluten, dairy, nuts, and eggs. It is also vegan-friendly and easy to prepare, making it an ideal solution for families looking for a safe, inclusive, and tasty pancake option. This is the first mix of its kind to be stocked on Tesco’s shelves.
“Our Pancake and Waffle Mix is so versatile,” said Julianne. “You can whip up fluffy American-style pancakes or delicious waffles in no time. Unlike many allergen-free mixes that don’t quite match up to traditional pancakes, we’ve worked hard to create a mix that delivers on both taste and texture.
“We are thrilled that Tesco is supporting our mission to make allergen-free foods more accessible. The visibility on Gondola Ends in over 500 stores nationwide means that even more people will have the chance to discover our delicious, safe, and easy-to-make baking mixes.”
