Julianne Ponan MBE, founder of the allergen-free brand Creative Nature, has been announced as a returning member of the esteemed Product Ambassador Panel for the 2025 World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE).
Julianne will join an expert panel at the event in Hamburg tasked with highlighting the event’s core pillars: technology, sustainability, nutrition, allergens and special meals, and beverages.
Set to take place from 8-10 April 2025, WTCE will provide a platform for industry leaders to explore trends, share insights, and develop strategies that enhance passenger satisfaction. Next year’s event also introduces a new technology ambassador, Kai Kosicki, further broadening the panel's expertise and offering innovative perspectives on the evolving onboard experience.
Julianne, who lives with severe anaphylaxis and multiple food allergies, brings unparalleled insight to the allergen-free and special meals category. Her personal journey inspired her to launch Creative Nature in 2012, a brand dedicated to providing inclusive, allergen-free food solutions.
"I’m thrilled to return as an ambassador for WTCE 2025 and continue advocating for inclusive, allergen-free onboard experiences. As someone who lives with severe food allergies, I understand the challenges passengers face, and I’m passionate about helping the industry create safer and more accessible options for everyone,” said Julianne.
With a mission to make food accessible for the 220 million people worldwide who live with allergies, Julianne’s work has cemented her as a thought leader in the “free-from” space.
As part of the ambassador panel, she will share her expertise on creating safer onboard dining experiences for passengers with food allergies, helping airlines and caterers provide inclusive offerings that meet evolving consumer needs.
She has also been confirmed as the WTCE’s special diets ambassador for the second year and is a key figure in educating the sector around allergies and their impact for customers.
Joining Julianne on the panel are returning ambassadors Melissa Adamski, Kelly Stevenson, and Matt Crane: Melissa Adamski, a dietitian and nutritionist, will provide expertise on passenger wellness; Kelly Stevenson, a beverage specialist on inflight drink curation and Matt Crane, founder of the Aviation Sustainability Forum, will address eco-friendly product and waste reduction. New to the panel is Kai Kosicki, Consultant, Haywood Partnership and CEO of ExpAir, who brings more than 25 years of experience in improving the onboard customer experience.
The WTCE 2025 ambassador panel will work with the event organisers to highlight the exhibition’s forward-thinking approach to the travel catering industry. The Taste of Travel Theatre will return as a key feature, hosting educational sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions focused on WTCE’s core themes.
