Nina Anto dedicates her fall track to the invaluable memories that can be created through friendships. 5437 Miles cherishes her time in London, where she moved to study music at BIMM London focusing on developing her voice and songwriting skills.

A yellow house, a roommate with a talent for cooking, and an open invitation to new friends turned into sharing food, dreams, and emotions. This is what formed lifelong bonds as hardship turned to happiness through simply being together.

Nina Anto, a professional pianist from Warsaw, made her way to Venice Beach, LA to continue her music studies at CalArts. London times are cherished as the first stop on the journey away from home.

"The distance between Los Angeles and London is 5437 miles. But even if I moved to another planet, I know we would still be friends and feel so deeply connected despite the distance," said Anto.

Friendships are made by being your authentic self and spending time together. But in a globalised world, that is not always possible.

"This is what true friendship means to me - to give each other the freedom to follow our dreams, to support each other even when it might not feel very easy at times, freedom is one of the most important values for me when it comes to friendships," said Nina.

Anto continues to offer her friendship to people she meets wherever she travels, and 5437 Miles features new musical friends she has made in her new home in LA; Paper Citizen contributed guitar tracks and Alex Grant recorded bass.
