The best camera is the one you have with you, and reporters are now being trained to use their smartphones in their newsgathering and become mobile journalists (mojos). But many use iPhones – the staple mobile reporting apps have long been iOS-only.
But as more mojo app developers have now built Android versions of their tools in the last year, and Android still remains by far the market leader worldwide (with a share of over 80 per cent), is the balance about to shift?
