The station, which covers positive news from the area in a weekly show, told Journalism.co.uk it will launch Oxbox for the whole of Oxfordshire later this year.
Witney TV co-founder Barry Clack said the new show will be produced "in the same light" as Witney TV, which launched in May last year, covering positive stories from the area.
"We exist purely for the local market and report on positive stories from the area. Channel 4 news described us as a collection of 'and finally' stories, similar to what appeared at the old News at Ten show, which is something I am very proud of."
Rather than a weekly show, Oxbox will run several times a week as events occur.
Clack said Witney TV will also be registering an interest in a local TV licence for Oxfordshire following yesterday's announcement by culture secretary Jeremy Hunt of a new national TV channel to host regional services.
