Toor was previously editorial director at Dennis Publishing's interactive division, where he was responsible for the relaunch of the Maxim and Auto Express websites and launch of IT PRO. He was also involved in the launch of several specialist websites at Dennis, including Know Your Mobile and Know Your Cell. According to his LinkedIn profile, he took up the post with Imagine in July.
Prior to joining Dennis, Toor was managing editor of music websites at Emap. He will now work on Imagine Publishing's portfolio of 27 websites, which include computing, videogames, motoring and photography titles.
According to Imagine's managing director Damien Butt, he will be involved with the publisher plans to launch new sites and iPad apps and editions.

My aim will be to ensure that our digital platforms showcase that excellent editorial to ensure it works just as hard online and to make sure that Imagine is at the top of its game when it comes to embracing new digital opportunities," says Toor in a release from the publisher.
