IPC Southbank has appointed handbag.com's Alicen Stenner as its new digital director.

Stenner, who is currently group digital marketing director and publisher at handbag.com, will join IPC, which publishes marieclare.co.uk and instyle.co.uk, in mid-February.

Before taking up her current position, Stenner was brand director of handbag.com for seven years and had worked as a marketing manager for BBC Radio.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to work with such prestigious brands and build up their digital presence and success.  This is a great time to be working online and I am looking forward to fulfilling IPC’s ambitious plans," said Stenner.

Jackie Newcombe, managing director of IPC Southbank described Stenner as 'the ideal candidate to drive forward our ambitious digital plans'.
