Outlook 2010 website
The fusion of digital and print news media will be scrutinised at an international industry event this October, as the International Newsmedia Marketing Association (IMNA) and Online Publishers Association Europe (OPA Europe) join forces to hold Outlook 2010.

The three-day conference in Liverpool, UK, will feature speakers from European, US and South African media groups, including Benoit Raphael, editor in chief of Le Post.fr; former research director for ContentNext Media, Lauren Rich Fine; and Neil Jagger, circulation director for the UK's Associated Newspapers.

"The Liverpool conference aims to identify emerging strategies in audience and advertising across platforms at content-rich newspapers that are in the process of transforming themselves into newsmedia companies," said Wolfgang Bretschko, INMA Europe president, and Tomasz Jozefacki, OPA Europe president, in an open invitation on the event's website.

The event will take place between October 21-23. A full list of speakers and programme can be seen at this link.

Topics up for discussion include integrated newsrooms, editorial restructuring, changes in advertising models and monetisation. The event is aimed at senior to middle managers in marketing, sales, new media, online, and circulation departments at European newspapers and media companies.

Registration for just the conference portion of the event costs €900.

Journalism.co.uk will be co-moderating the proceedings alongside Robert Picard, professor and director of the Jönkoping International Business School in Sweden.

Full coverage of the event will be available on this website.
