Associated Northcliffe Digital - the new media publishing division of Associated Newspapers - has announced major changes to its senior management team.

Former managing director of AN Digital integrated media Mark Milner has been promoted to the role of managing director of AN Digital specialist divisions.

Milner will take responsibility for the publisher's property, motors, dating and comparison shopping sites.

As part of the changes in this area, the company will disband Milner's former integrated media division, which focused on generating partnership revenues through digital offerings on companion websites.

The move, which has happened ahead of schedule, was part of existing plans to hand back reponsibility for partner sites to the respective newspaper staff.

In addition to Milner's promotion, Roland Bryan has also been named as AN Digital's new director of strategy.

Bryan, who has held a similar role with Virgin Media, will be take control of the overall strategy for AN Digital and its portfolio companies.

Two further promotions have been made following the creating of two new divisions within AN Digital.

The first, digital services to the newspaper companion sites, will be headed by Karen Kemble-Diaz, while Andy Mitchell will look after the new digital display and commercial partnerships division.

"Growth at AN Digital has been quite phenomenal over the last few years," said Andy Hart, managing director at AN Digital.

"I've put in place these changes now because we're always looking ahead and I want talented people to continue to drive us forward operationally, commercially and strategically."
