What is it?: Qanda allows you to ask questions to anyone on the internet, and request a video answer in return.
Devices: iOS
Why is it of use to journalists?: Video clips are a great source of engagement on social media, and this app can potentially enable journalists to receive video interviews with anyone they choose.
After logging in to Qanda with your Twitter account, get started by typing the name of the person you are looking to interview. Then type your question and choose whether to share it with your interviewee via Facebook Messenger, email, WhatsApp or text message.
A link will be sent which will direct them to film the answer within the Qanda app.

The question and answer will then be put together in the app's video player, ready to be posted on social media or embedded in an article.
Users can also create open questions and share them on their social media accounts or website, allowing everybody to give their opinion.
Qanda includes a teleprompter for those interviewees wishing to prepare an answer, helping to improve the likelihood of people responding.
