Mail Online's iphone app received the most daily average unique browsers of the three
Associated Newspapers, the Independent and the Guardian have each provided a breakdown of usage statistics for their free apps as part of the latest ABC data release for the month of April.
The Mail Online's iPhone app comes top – with 213,959 daily average unique browsers and an average of 20.97 million daily app page impressions – a remarkable 98 page impressions per user per day.
Its sister Android app was used by an average of 53,050 browsers each day in April, but page impression figures are not supplied.
The Guardian's iPhone app received 46,438 daily unique browsers, clocking up 368,890 page impressions - about eight pages per visitor.
The US version of the app was used by an average of 6,612 browsers per day in April, with 41,378 page impressions in an average day.
Finally, the Independent reported 10,224 daily unique browsers for its iPhone app, representing 221,733 app page impressions per day.
The Android app had 3,727 daily browsers in April and 70,776 page impressions.
