The spa, wellness and health market is booming and we are looking for a journalist to join the Spa Business team to be responsible for our global news coverage and the creation of our twice-monthly news title, Spa Business Insider.
You will also work on the quarterly Spa Business Magazine and the annual Spa Business Handbook, which appear in digital and in print.
Although the role is home working based, you will join a lively editorial team who constantly collaborate via face to face meetings and on video calls and be involved in a range of other editorial tasks, such as photo research, subbing, proofing and social media, as we create our wide range of communications for our readers.
We are looking for someone who loves to write stories that are a joy to read and who enjoys the whole journalistic process of ‘making’.
The role involves regular travel to report on new developments, undertake interviews for publication, attend conferences and trade shows to represent the team and our ideal candidate will love to travel and be a strong networker.
You need to be a high achiever and a real team player with an eye for detail and a great balance of creativity and logic.
The role requires someone who is highly organised and fast working, with solid training and experience in journalism and related fields.
We have a powerful mission as a team to support the industries we work in and to contribute to the advancement of the world of health and wellbeing as an antidote to the challenges being faced in the world today, so expertise in this market and a belief in this purpose and positivity would be a huge advantage.
