Are you a talented and creative writer with a passion for storytelling and an affinity for the world of luxury yachts? BOAT International, the global authority on superyachts, is looking for an experienced content editor to join our dynamic digital team.

About the role

As content editor at Boatinternational.com, you will be at the heart of our digital team, crafting compelling features, brokerage articles and breaking news stories. You will also bring your expertise to commercial content projects, ensuring a seamless blend of editorial and client-driven narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Reporting into the online editor, you will write, edit and publish high-quality features, news articles and brokerage content that drives traffic across the site and is tailored to our superyacht-focused audience.
• Assist the online editor to ensure that content is optimised across the website, using analytics and keyword research.
• Work with BOAT’s commercial content editor to produce engaging branded and sponsored content that aligns with client objectives and BOAT International’s editorial standards.
• Stay up to date on trends and developments in the superyacht industry to deliver timely and relevant content.
• Work closely with the wider editorial team to maintain BOAT International’s reputation as the leading voice in the luxury yacht sector.

What we are looking for

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar editorial role, ideally within the superyacht, luxury or lifestyle sectors.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for storytelling.
• A track record of producing commercial content alongside traditional editorial pieces.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• A passion for the superyacht lifestyle and a genuine interest in the luxury industry.
