Role overview:
This is a new role that involves creating and developing Inside Housing’s best practice and continuous professional development (CPD) content, working to set up a new strand of Inside Housing devoted to learning and development.
The role involves sourcing, editing and writing best practice and educational content covering a range of patches relevant to our readers – people who work in social housing.
This is a strategic role, and the editor will help develop and implement the best practice content strategy. They will be responsible for sourcing and editing content, along with writing compelling copy for the site. The role will also involve building awareness of Inside Housing’s new best practice newsletter and web content and building an audience in this area.

Main objectives:
Editing Inside Housing’s best practice content and leading on the strategic planning for the best practice section.
Source and edit content for Inside Housing’s best practice site. The role will also involve producing high quality, educational and useful content that helps housing professionals do their jobs better
Building and developing contacts and readership for the new best practice newletter and website.
The best practice editor is responsible for upholding and protecting the authoritative, highly-respected and objective tone and profile of Inside Housing. They will also be an advocate for the magazine in and out of sector.
To attend industry events, conferences and networking meetings, including chairing conference sessions and speaking about Inside Housing’s best practice offer.
