What you will be doing…

AI is arguably the most exciting area of tech right now, and TechRadar is expanding its coverage of the subject by hiring an AI writer. Reporting to the senior editor, AI, and working alongside writers on our mobile, computing, smart home and TV/AV verticals, the AI writer will be responsible for penning 1-2 stories daily on the key developments in this fast-moving area.

You will have a broad brief to cover everything from LLMs such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini to AI image generators such as Midjourney and Dall-E. You will write breaking news, reviews, how-tos, features and opinion pieces, will update key evergreen hubs, and will contribute to social and video content on TechRadar.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

  • Basic understanding of SEO.
  • Experience of writing for online.
  • A good knowledge of the AI industry.
  • Ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and easily-understood fashion.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to deliver copy to tight deadlines.

The expected range for this role is £26,000 - £30,000.

This is a hybrid role from our London Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
