Jones joined the title from Haymarket's digital magazine, Revolution, which has now been incorporated into Marketing, as a quarterly title available to subscribers of Marketing. Jones will also continue the role of Revolution editor.
Before becoming editor of Revolution, he worked on Marketing as digital editor, and then news editor.
"It's a privilege to be taking up the reins of such a well-respected title during a time of almost limitless challenge and opportunity for marketers," said Jones, in a Haymarket release.
