Jane Ennis has been named as the new editor of Best magazine, a release from publisher NatMag has confirmed.

She will take over from Michelle Hather, who recently stepped down after four years of editing the magazine.

Ennis, formerly editor of Now magazine, has worked as a magazine and newspaper consultant for the last two years.

She has won the British Society of Magazine Editors award four times and been named Periodical Publishers Association editor of the year.

"I am very excited at the prospect of taking charge of such an iconic weekly and continuing to steer it towards a successful future. I am looking forward to working with the talented staff on Best and to be joining NatMag, a company I have long admired," said Ennis in the release.
