Most people keeping up to date with digital and social media for the last couple of years would have heard of NPR's digital strategist Melody Kramer, and been surprised at the news of her departure to the US government-run 'digital skunkworks' 18F at the start of the year.
It may have been a loss for journalism but thankfully she still has time to share her thoughts on the media. At the weekend she published an excellent overview of different ways to think of a news homepage and today brought an interview on Poynter with Public Radio International's executive editor David Beard.
According to Kramer, Beard's Twitter feed is like a "curated, personalised version of a news homepage", and the two went into detail on the subject.
