In one case, an image on WashingtonPpost.com showed a naked prisoner on a lead - above an advert for travel site TravelZoo.com.
A spokesperson for WashingtonPost.com said that the site had not received any complaints about the placement of the advert, but added that the Iraqi prisoner photos have drawn an unusually high amount of traffic.
